The Great Final Reef Will Run With Olones

Surfline.com, the most searched wave prediction tool in the world by surfboard surfers, has announced that the weekend of the REEF Grand Final of the Kölbi National Circuit will be held on 21, 22 and 23 July in Playa Hermosa Jaco, the tournament will find waves up to 8 feet high during the first day of competition.

In fact, the prediction points out that the biggest days of the week, will be Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20, when the Central Pacific receives waves up to 11 feet in height.

However, on the weekend of the tournament, the swell will be in such a decline that the waves will fall to 6 feet in height for Sunday, ideal conditions for both the Open and the smaller categories to revel in the show aimed at the Large amount of audience expected.

The last time a Grand Final received very big conditions, it was in 2014, day where the largest wave was recorded in the history of the National Surfing Circuit, after the Guanacasteco, Isaac Vega, was tubed in a wave 15 feet height.

In this case, the direction of the event, will be pending the expected wave, this in order to offer security to the competitors who arrive at the "National Surfing Stadium" to fight the national title.

La Gran Final Reef Se Correrá Con Olones

La herramienta de predicción de oleaje más buscada del mundo por tablistas cibernautas, Surfline.com, ha adelantado que el fin de semana que se realizará La Gran Final REEF del Circuito Nacional kölbi, los días 21, 22 y 23 de julio en Playa Hermosa de Jaco, el torneo encontrará olas de hasta 8 pies de altura durante el primer día de competencia.

De hecho, la predicción apunta que los días más grandes de la semana, serán hoy miércoles 19 y jueves 20, cuando el Pacífico Central reciba olas hasta de 11 pies de altura.

No obstante, el fin de semana del torneo, el swell irá en tal descenso que las olas bajarían hasta 6 pies de altura para el domingo, condiciones ideales para que tanto el Open como las categorías menores, se deleiten en favor del espectáculo dirigido hacia la gran cantidad de público que se espera.

La última vez que una Gran Final recibió condiciones muy grandes, fue en 2014, jornada donde se registró la ola más grande corrida en la historia del Circuito Nacional de Surf, después que el guanacasteco, Isaac Vega, se entubó en una ola 15 pies de altura.

En este caso, la dirección del evento, estará al pendiente del oleaje esperado, esto con el fin de ofrecer seguridad a los y las competidoras que lleguen al “Estadio Nacional del Surf” a pelear el título nacional.
