(23/09) After years of neglect in the sport of Surf Lemon found that a group of veteran surfers was the best solution to a lack of organization by which the province as a whole country had lost importance in one of the best locations for sites the development of this sport that makes only a few months ago showed the country and the world, as far as Costa Ricans are taking a liking to the sport of surf and sand.

The Costa Rican Association of Caribbean Surf has a great team among which are names well known in the act of sport in the Caribbean area country in the Pacific as well. Cristian de la O Valverde, Ronald Brown Potter, Eduardo Torres Solis, Marco Picado Cortes, Dagoberto Chavez Ruiz, Sergio García, Guadamuz Gonzalez, Yonathan Benavidez, and others.

"Our organization seeks to promote the sport again in the Caribbean area and thus rescue it from being forgotten as it is now." assert its chairman Cristian, "We aim to bring our most talented athletes to events and international surfing tournaments so that may have potential in the sport or that gradually grows more in interest in our country," he added.

All association members are an essential part for the years of experience that each individual brings to the sport that is reflected to a good job together that you plan to be very successful for the sake of a drowned province of social problems, " Our focus is to rescue the youth and the rescue of our own province, because we know that to hold events and tournaments, here in Limon can help with sports tourism, and so in turn help some young people with incentives" stated Ronald Brown.

Summer 2009-2010 Winter Caribbean Circuit

The Association and all their tools on the table and ready to use so much that they have a series of dates and confirmed lists which begin with the launch of its website this coming October 17 at an event to be held in lemon.

For the month of December for the weekend of 18,19 and 20 in beautiful beach have confirmed the implementation of a tournament dedicated to some of the emblems of the province surfers who have died but still remembered.

Followed for the month of January the implementation of a tournament with two locations in the whole island and beach. Uvita and Westfalia and the months of February, March and April, three tournaments in different parts of the province.

(23/09) Tras años de abandono en el deporte del Surf, limón encontró en unos surfeadores veteranos la mejor solución a una falta de organización por la cual la provincia ye l país entero habían perdido importancia en uno de los sitios de mejor locación para el desarrollo de este deporte que hace tan solo unos meses atrás mostro al país y al mundo entero, lo mucho que los costarricenses le están tomando el gusto al deporte de las olas y arena.

La Asociación Costarricense de Surf del Caribe cuenta con un gran equipo de trabajo de entre los cuales están nombres muy reconocidos en el actuar del deporte tanto en el área caribeña del país como así en el pacifico como lo son Cristian de la O Valverde, Ronald Brown Potter, Eduardo Torres Solís, Marco Picado Cortes, Dagoberto Chávez Ruiz, Sergio García Benavidez y Yonathan González Guadamuz entre otros.

“Nuestra organización busca fomentar nuevamente el deporte en la zona caribeña y así rescatarlo del olvido como se encuentra actualmente” afirmo su presidente Cristian de la O, “tenemos como meta llevar a nuestros deportistas mas talentosos a eventos y torneos de surf internacionales para que así puedan tener u futuro en este deporte que poco a poco crece mas en interés en nuestro país” agrego.

Todos los miembros de la asociación forman parte fundamental por los años de experiencia que cada uno aporta individualmente en el deporte que se ve reflejada a un buena labor en conjunto que tiene pensado tener mucho éxito para el bien de una provincia ahogada de problemática social, “nuestro interés primordial es el rescate de la juventud y el rescate de nuestra misma provincia, ya que sabemos que al realizar eventos y torneos, acá en limón podemos contribuir con turismo deportivo y así a su vez ayudar a algunos jóvenes con incentivos” aseguro Ronald Brown.
Circuito Caribe invierno verano 2009-2010

La Asociación tiene ya todas sus herramientas sobre la mesa y listas para usar a tal punto que tienen una serie de fechas listas y confirmadas las cuales comienzan con el lanzamiento de su página este próximo 17 de octubre en un evento a realizarse en limón.

Para el mes de diciembre, para el fin de semana del 18,19 y 20 en playa bonita se tiene confirmado la realización de un torneo dedicado a algunos de los surfeadores emblemas de la provincia que han fallecido pero que aun se recuerdan.
Seguido para el mes de enero la realización de un torneo con dos locaciones en conjunto la isla uvita y la playa westfalia y en los meses de febrero, marzo y abril, tres torneos en diferentes lugares de la provincia.
