1. British journalist Michael Dixon was last seen leaving his hotel Villas Macondo in Playa Tamarindo at 09:00 am on October 19 and has been reported missing. Desaparecido en Costa Rica: periodista británico Michael Dixon TAMARINDO, Costa Rica, 31 de octubre de 2009 -  Michael Dixon, un periodista británico afincado en Bruselas, Bélgica, según se informa salió de su hotel Villas Macondo a las 09:00 de la mañana del 19 de octubre rumbo a la playa de Tamarindo en Costa Rica y no se sabe de su paradero desde entonces. Michael llevaba un pantalón corto, una camiseta y una toalla azul que el hotel brinda a los huéspedes. David Dixon llegó a Costa Rica el pasado día 30 de octubre en búsqueda de su hermano. “Michael es un tipo muy responsable, no desaparecería sin avisar a sus padres, que están preocupadísimos,” commenta David. Michael, de 33 años, es de tez morena, mide un metro setenta y es de complexión atlética. 2. 28-year-old graduate student David Gimelfarb are searching their son after he disappeared while hiking in Costa Rica. The doctoral student was last seen by a park ranger about 10 a.m. on August 11. Gimelfarb was reportedly driving a rented sport-utility vehicle the Parque National Rincon de la Vieja. The vehicle he rented was found locked in the park.

Cruz Roja rescue workers made an extensive search of the park, but they were looking for a dear or injured persons and no someone who did not want to be found. The parents said that persons with information on the son could contact Roma Gimelfarb at (506) 8928-2277.
