PRIVATE SURF CHARTERS
Maybe you're tired of the crowds and the mosquitos, and just want to get away for awhile. Well a boat trip is the way to go. Most surf charters leave from Herradura or Playa de Coco and will take you to spots that are nearly impossible to access by land. A few even make multi-day trips, so you step off the plane, take a transfer right to the boat, and then you're off on an all-inclusive adventure. One Week Intermediate Surf Tour of the Nicoya Peninsula ~ January 23rd - 30th: Pick up at San Jose Airport and travel by mini-bus to Mal Pais at the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula by taking the Puntarenas Ferry. Surf the famous breaks (and a few secret spots) around Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Nosara, Marbella, Avellanas, Tamarindo, and Playa Grande with the personalized coaching of our top instructor-guides. This is the ideal tour for intermediate surfers who want to work on their skills while exploring new waves. Accommodation in a variety of private homes, cabinas, and small hotels.
